About Us

Purpose

The Environmental Council exists to preserve, protect and restore the natural resources of Volusia and Flagler Counties. The organization was co-founded by Dr. Walter Boardman in 1968. Our objectives are to provide a means for the exchange of environmental information and develop a unified voice among members, groups and individuals having an interest in protecting the environment.
